Return and Refund Policy
Global Sensor Systems, Inc. offers refunds under the following conditions:

Returns are subject to the terms of the 2-year Limited Manufacturer's Warranty outlined below.

Refunds will only be processed for products returned within the warranty period and in compliance with the Shipment Instructions listed below.

If the return is not due to a defect or error on the part of Global Sensor Systems, Inc., a restocking fee of 20% of the original purchase price will apply. This fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

Shipping charges are non-refundable, and the customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a defect or error on the part of Global Sensor Systems, Inc.

To ensure timely processing, please follow the Shipment Instructions and obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA#) prior to returning any product.

Global Sensor Systems, Inc. 2-Year Limited Manufacturer's Warranty
Global Sensor Systems, Inc. warrants to the owner of the enclosed product that the product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the shipment date, independent of the installation date by an authorized service representative. If the product fails to perform as published, Global Sensor Systems, Inc. will, at its sole and exclusive discretion, either:
(a) repair or replace any defective product or component; or
(b) accept the return of the product and refund the money actually paid by the original purchaser for the product.

Repair or replacement may be made with a new or refurbished product or components, at Global Sensor Systems, Inc.’s sole and exclusive discretion. If the product or a component incorporated within it is no longer available, Global Sensor Systems, Inc. may, at its sole discretion, replace the product with a similar product of similar function. This is your sole and exclusive remedy for breach of this Limited Warranty.

Any product that has been repaired or replaced under this Limited Warranty will be covered by the terms of this Limited Warranty for the longer of:
(a) ninety (90) days from the date of delivery of the repaired or replacement product; or
(b) the remaining warranty period.

Global Sensor Systems, Inc. will only cover up to $4,000.00 worth of products over the two-year warranty period.

This Limited Warranty is transferable from the original purchaser to subsequent owners, but the warranty period will not be extended in duration or expanded in coverage for any such transfer.

Warranty Conditions: How to Get Service If You Want to Make a Claim Under This Limited Warranty
Proof of installation by an installer authorized by Global Sensor Systems, Inc., in addition to a purchaser’s receipt or other proof of the original purchase date acceptable to Global Sensor Systems, Inc., is required before warranty performance shall be rendered.

Global Sensor Systems, Inc. will have no warranty obligations with respect to a returned product if it determines, in its reasonable discretion after examination of the returned product, that the product is an Excluded Product (defined below).
​
Global Sensor Systems, Inc. will bear all costs of return shipping to the owner; however, the owner is responsible for shipping to Global Sensor Systems, Inc. Note that if, upon examination, the returned product is not in need of repairs, the owner must pay shipping and handling before Global Sensor Systems, Inc. will return the product.

Shipment Instructions
Contact a Global Sensor Systems customer service representative before sending any item for warranty repair or replacement. Global Sensor Systems Customer Service can be contacted at:

If your product is approved for return:

Place the product, along with any accessories and original packaging (if available), in a proper shipping package.

Include any documentation necessary to facilitate the warranty, including the original purchase invoice.

You will be given a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA#). Include this number in the package documentation or write it on the outside face of the package (as “RMA# _____________”).

Arrange shipping of the product to Global Sensor Systems offices or an authorized agent. Global Sensor Systems recommends using Purolator or UPS but can accommodate a customer's preferred carrier.

Global Sensor Systems, Inc. will contact you by phone or email once the package has arrived, and the contents/product have been inspected.

Liability: Excluded Products
This Limited Warranty does not cover:

Products marked as “sample” or “Not for Sale,” or sold “AS IS.”

Products that have been modified, altered, tampered with, neglected, abused, misused, improperly maintained or repaired, or damaged (including but not limited to shipping damage).

Products handled, stored, installed, tested, or used not in accordance with the instructions and guides provided by Global Sensor Systems, Inc.
-
Products not manufactured by Global Sensor Systems, Inc., which have been supplied, installed, and/or used in conjunction with Global Sensor Systems, Inc. products, even if packaged or sold with them.

Damage caused by replacement parts not from Global Sensor Systems, Inc.

Acts of God, including but not limited to lightning, flood, tornado, earthquake, or hurricane.

This Limited Warranty does not cover consumable parts, including batteries, unless damage is due to defects in materials or workmanship of the product, or software (even if packaged or sold with the product). Unauthorized use of the product or software can impair the product’s performance and may invalidate this Limited Warranty.
Limitation of Liability
In no event will Global Sensor Systems, Inc. be liable for consequential, incidental, exemplary, or special damages, including damages for lost data or lost profits, arising from or relating to this Limited Warranty or the product. Global Sensor Systems, Inc.’s total cumulative liability will not exceed the amount actually paid for the product by the original purchaser.

Disclaimer of All Other Warranties
Except as stated in this Limited Warranty, which is the sole and exclusive warranty, and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Global Sensor Systems, Inc. disclaims all express, implied, and statutory warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Your Rights and This Limited Warranty
This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other legal rights that vary by jurisdiction. For a full description of your legal rights, refer to applicable laws in your jurisdiction or consult a relevant consumer advisory service.
Applicable Law
You agree that the laws of Canada, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern these terms of service or any dispute between Global Sensor Systems, Inc. and you.

Disputes
Any dispute relating to your visit to this website or products purchased shall be arbitrated by a provincial or federal court in Canada. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts.

Price
All prices are subject to change without notice due to unforeseen cost increases of imported products, materials, or currency fluctuations. In the event of an incorrect price on a quote or order, you will be notified and given the option to accept the corrected price or cancel the order.
